A Havdallah Service will precede the movie presentation

The movie tells the story of the origins of the Safe Haven refuge in Fort Ontario, Oswego, NY, where 982 refugees were housed after they escaped from danger of being murdered by the Nazis from August 1944 to February 1946.

A discussion, followed by  Q&A will be facilitated by Hillel's Angels Motorcycle Touring Club, a chapter of tghe Jewish Motorcyclists Alliance.  This organization has been riding to raise money for Holocaust awareness and education for the past 10 years.  Donations will be accepted to support this cause.

2014 marked the 70th anniversary of these refugees coming to the US to escape the terror of Hitler.

The event is open to the public.
