Congregation Kol Am Religious School

Congregation Kol Am's religious school program meets on Sundays from 9:00 am until 11:00 am and on Tuesdays from 4:30 until 6 pm. Our Sunday program involves Jewish tradition, history, law and practice.  The Hebrew component on Tuesdays is designed for our 3rd through 7th graders to become familiar with our liturgy. Each student meets with our rabbi and tutors individually for Bar/Bat Mitzvah lessons. Hebrew is taught to our kindergarten through 2nd grades, as part of the Sunday program.  Kol Am's religious school  meets at the historic Court Street School in Freehold Borough.

Our students learn about Torah, mitzvot and traditions - aimed so that they can follow meaningful Judaism in their lives. Our 8th and 9th graders join with our rabbi  each month for experiential sessions as well as for text study. Our 10th grade Confirmation class meets weekly with the rabbi for dinner and class.

NOTE TO PARENTS: Students are not permitted to wait outside the school building at dismissal time.  Parents must park their cars and physically come into the building to pick up their children.
